One of my favorite behind the Scenes guys and most underrated and unsung heroes is undoubtedly Ron Hone
Ron is still working now in the Behind the Scenes trade and genius is not to strong a word to describe him, many of the effects we see that went into the remote control R2D2 units in both The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi were all down the Ron.
As well as operating the Robot yoda we see here on Mark Hamills back from The Empire Strikes Back whilst being watched by Gary Kurtz and Dave Barclay, a massive thank you to Ron for being kind enough to sign this for me.
