About my Garret Brown Autograph
This is Autograph is by Garrett Brown who was responsible for inventing the Oscar-winning Steadicam camera stabiliser.
In the Star wars world he is famous for his work on the speeder bike scene from Return of the Jedi.
The effect of speed was created by walking the Steadicam through the forest, shooting at 1fps. When played back at 24fps, the motion is 24 times as fast. Of course, the actors, bikes and pyrotechnics were all shot separately.
Pretty much a legend in his field this is a very welcome autograph
