About my Leslie Dilley Autograph
In this day and age its near on impossible to add a new name to the original Trilogy films, especially New Hope.
So getting this amazing gift from a friend is pretty much a grail item for me
Les Dilley was co-art director along with colleague Norman Reynolds on New Hope
Mr Dilley also helped to convince Kenny Baker to play Artoo after much persuading, as the majority of the other little people tested with the prop weren’t strong enough to operate it.
He returned to Work on Empire Strikes back, but sadly never made it to Norway as he fell ill at the airport, resulting in him not going and was replaced by the very amazing Alan Tomkin
